Entering the next chapter

The solidification of right wing politics in the West.

We are now entering a new norm. Donald Trump will not be impeached and will face re-election this year. Right wing politics is taking hold. Donald Trump marches on, Boris Johnson kicks out left leaning press from latest Brexit update.

I was about to write, Donald Trump will most likely win as a floundering Democratic party has failed to find a truly appropriate candidate. Bernie is too left for a 50% Republican country, Warren’s public spending plans will also get her nowhere with the same section of America and Biden is somewhat of an embarrassing older Uncle who unfortunately doesn’t offer alot of inspiration.

… but as I read the results from Iowa I am taken aback by the new kid on the block. Butgieg, an openly gay man who has risen to be mayor of his constituency and has undoubtedly faced a huge amount of backlash for his sexuality has come out on top. I’ve quickly googled him and only 5 minutes of videos later I’m already convinced this guy could do it. He could steal the White House back and get America back on track. A young fresh face who’s come from nowhere. Yes this is the man. He will easily take any comments from Trump on the chin and probably have a few of his own. I still need to do more research but I already have a good feeling about this guy but my god do we need some hope!
