A crisis in morality…

Today’s age is riddled with immorality. It’s not something much discussed. Whether the actions you are about to perform are really the best for all involved. Even your enemies. Like every age there is a struggle and like every human in every age there is imperfection. In the Social Media age, everything is flashy, get your attention, sexed up, sassy, fun, free spirited. We show our best selves and at our worst show how great we are at recovering. No one wants to admit that at their core they are weak, frail, insecure human beings, trying to find a little place to call yours in amongst the noise.

Many will turn to their vices in an attempt to numb the reality, many who admit they need help will turn to a self help book, a psychologist or medicine. Those who are in denial will pump up their egos in an attempt to make everyone else feel bad so they will feel better. Very few in this age will turn to our roots.

It’s a dying shame. No one can recognise that their anguish their pain their anger all helped propel people like the Donald to high office, or unleashed the vile us vs them rhetoric of Corbyn, or the anti-semitism or the Brexit immigration posters. No one can see that we start with our hearts first and everything else follows. A psychologist will scrape the layers of your heart to get you back to being somewhat ok, but god will drill much deeper and fix every part that needs healing; tenderly, gently, with care.

My life has changed because of him, I may no longer chase money, career and status now, but I am far happier because of it. I work for God now and everything that I do will be to the betterment of him. That may be difficult to understand, but what your reap on this earth has little to do with the fruits god sends.

I am blessed to have met a wonderful girl and be moving my life forward in the right direction, after a long old journey going the wrong direction, I am now heading toward love not fear. If the world wants to continue heading that way, god gives them the freedom to do so. But there is nothing but stress and fear at the end of the path. So I encourage those who read this to set their lives straight, do more of the right thing, find solutions to your problems, work at it every day. But if you truly want to be healed quicker and more gently than anything else, turn to god. You may not get everything you want but damn sure he will give you everything you need and thirst for.
